The new project we are working on!

On the lovely long weekend of Thanksgiving. We have placed a plastic Perrier bottle in the sand of Awenda Provincial park on the coast of Georgian Bay. We buried it about 2 feet into the sand thinking we should check if it is still there once we come back in May of 2012. Then the Perrier bottle project was created. We got our cameras and started filming and taking pictures of the location of where we would find it. This video on the right is just the first part of the documentary. Once we return to the beach we will see if it's still there and complete the project.

Length of the Project:

October 8th, 2011 - May 20th, 2012

Story of The Blue Inflatable Ball

A few years ago in June of 2010, my family just got a blue exercise ball and I've always wanted to make a video of a ball bouncing all over the place uncontrollably for some reason so I called over my friend one day and we decided that the video will start out with a guy kicking the ball and so he kicked the ball and we would be throwing t all over the place and at one part we came across my little sisters room. I strangely enough decided to hit my little sisters hamster cage (which now the hamster is dead, not because of the ball, she just died of old age) with the hamster still in it. I still wasn't sure what we were thinking. Later on when the ball was outside it was my turn to throw the ball since we would alternate in doing so. The ball was supposed to got through some branches into the tree but then when I threw it, it got stuck. So for about 10 minutes we were throwing stuff at it and I eventually climbed into the tree and got it.

After a year since the big blue ball went onto YouTube I was bored and decided to look through my videos for ideas on another video when I suddenly had the idea of making a sequel the blue ball video. I decided to make the name of The Blue Inflatable Ball official so I wouldn't get confused with all the different adjectives that goes with the ball. So after my final year of elementary school ended I came up with the idea to film in our forest since I have never done such a thing yet. The scenery was stunning in the forest during the summer and I wanted to get that in a video. Then I wrote the script for the first scene on a lined sheet of paper and we just got out and filmed it. Though during the filming, we came across the time when a whole bunch of mosquitoes and flies were flying around and I didn't want to have the constant buzzing in the video so I went back, got a bunch of bug spray, and sprayed all over myself and my sister and accidentally the tripod. Sadly enough the black tripod was bleached and had white spots all over it. I got the idea of having the ball become a sort of monster terrorizing a town just to make it more interesting and whenever it were to hit someone they would immediately get killed.   We tried to get this movie completed before school started but sadly enough one of our actors had summer camp and so we moved the date to October 1st. After school started, we had to film on the weekends so it became a slow process, with people not being able to show up, actors leaving early, new friends in high school suggesting different things, and actors changing around the script because he wanted to die by the ball. (no names mentioned) Speaking of new friends in high school, I met up with someone in my class who said he has a bunch of audio equipment and likes to do visual effects. So I gave him a part for him to do since we were half way finishing the movie. With sending videos to him and for him to send them back caused a lot of troubles. When the deadline reach we weren't able to finish editing the last scene. So we split the video up and uploaded it. Then people who were watching the new video thought the first part was the entire movie it's self and I had to change the title and the description a couple of times. finally on October 15th, 2011 we finished the 2nd part but still the first part has about 400 more views the second.
